Both the National Resources Defense Council and recipe website Epicurious feature easy to use guides on what is “good right now” in local markets, broken down by state. With these handy guides, you can now create menus using the freshest ingredients possible – and buying local is an added bonus. You can even get recipes featuring each item on the Epicurious site, just hover the mouse over the item and click “view recipes.”
